Once you complete the registration form and click on the link to download the simulator, you will get a pop up window titled “File Download – Security Warning.” Click “Save.”
Download the file (mt4setup.exe) to your Desktop and then go to your Desktop and double click the file to install it (if you click “RUN” instead of downloading the file, it will not work – please download the file first).
If you then get a “Security Warning” pop up window saying that “The publisher could not be verified,” don’t worry. Simply click, “Run” (why does Microsoft make things so difficult?).
The installation is self explanatory.
Eventually, you will get to a window like the one below (click it to enlarge it – the “Deposit” amount can be changed by clicking on the drop down arrow or entering any amount equal to $2500 or greater):
Continue to click “Next” until your simulator registration is complete – then click “Finish.”

Make sure that you practice a lot on the simulator before you even consider trading real funds.
